Amidst Jawan Release, Sameer Wankhede Wins Rs 25 Crores Bribery Case Involving Shah Rukh Khan’s Son Aryan Khan

Following the release of Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan, Sameer Wankhede once again grabbed the spotlight by securing victory in a high-profile bribery case valued at 25 crore rupees, which implicated the superstar's son, Aryan Khan. To provide context, in 2021, Aryan Khan found himself entangled in a major legal issue during the Cordelia drug bust case. Subsequently, he was exonerated by the NCB's special investigation team. Nevertheless, Sameer Wankhede faced charges related to criminal conspiracy and extortion threats in connection to the same case. Furthermore, the Central Administrative Tribunal, in its ruling, has pointed out that NCB Deputy Director Gyaneshwar Singh should not have been included in the special inquiry team tasked with investigating alleged procedural irregularities by the former NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede. Earlier, a dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan that said "Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar." made netizens believe it was superstar's jibe at Sameer Wankhede. In a reply to this, the NCB official posted a cryptic Tweet that read "I have licked the fire and danced in the ashes of every bridge I ever burned. I fear no hell from you. -Nicole Lyons. A quote that always inspires me !" As of now, SRK's Jawan achieved an impressive global opening day collection of Rs 129 crore, surpassing the previous record held by his own film Pathaan which earned Rs 106 crore on day one.
